Out-of-School Program

On several days when the School District of Philadelphia is closed for students, Morris Arboretum offers Out-of-School Days programming. This program is offered to students in grades K through 3 in Northwest Philadelphia public and charter schools, is free of charge, and includes lunch and snacks. Each program runs from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Registration is required.

Join us for a day full of kid-centered, nature-themed fun! The children will meet in small groups led by Arboretum staff and will learn about nature, make a craft, take a tour, and enjoy a full day of outdoor activities. Lunch and snacks are provided. This program is rain or shine!  Please review the Parent Handbook for additional details and information about our program.

Due to limited space, each child will be allowed to register for one session only. A second session will be considered only if space allows.
