Children ages 2-4 and their favorite caregiver are invited to join us to explore the outdoors and learn about some fun early science subjects like leaves, weather, soil, and insects.

Morris After Dark: Going Batty (All Ages)

Join our Education staff for a special opportunity to experience the Arboretum at night! You’ll learn about the unique adaptations bats have and the important role of bats in our ecosystem, as well as use a bat detector to help us locate bats in the night sky.

Music is My Nature (Ages 3 - 6)

In this sweet outdoor circle time, little ones will get the chance to sing, clap and dance, and, with simple instruments, apply basic musical concepts such as beat, rhythm, pitch, and dynamics.

The Art of Bees (Ages 6-10)

In this class we will learn about bees and make art that reflects the beauty of honey bees and nature.

My Big Backyard: Nature Journaling (Ages 9-12)

Nature journals give us a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Together we will construct our journals and then venture into the great outdoors with our new best friend and tool in hand. Remember, there is always more to notice, and always more to wonder.

Join us for a fairy garden and succulent workshop where you can create the whimsical garden of your dreams!

Awaken your child’s curiosity and nurture their appreciation for nature by registering them for Morris Arboretum’s Nature Explorers Camp. Led by experienced educators, our goal is to inspire new generations of environmentally aware citizen scientists.
