Join us for a series of events celebrating the launch of Private Gardens of Philadelphia by Nicole Juday, including a virtual book talk, an in-person book purchase and signing, three private garden tours of Philadelphia gardeners whose home landscapes are profiled in the publication, and a lecture on the five original Japanese Gardens of Compton.

The Wetland: A Unique Ecosystem
Saturday, May 11 • 11 am
Explore the many native plants and trees in the natural lands area near the Wissahickon Creek on a guided tour. Meet at the entrance kiosk parking lot. Free with general admission. Weather permitting.

Our knowledgeable guides will design a tour around the interests of the attendees. Every tour is different so come back as many times as you’d like. Meet at the Welcome Center. Free with general admission. Weather permitting
