We encourage guests to be as festive and floral as possible!  Click  here  to see photos from past events for inspiration. Turf-tolerant shoes are also recommended as there is a lot of standing and walking, sometimes in areas that are not paved.   What kind of food will be served? Passed appetizers will be served throughout the evening in the Rose Garden.  There will also be various food stations in and around the Rose Garden serving small plates.  At 7 pm, passed appetizers and drinks will be served in the Pennock Flower Walk and the Garden Railway areas. Gluten-free and vegan options will be available. What extra benefits does a VIP Benefactor or Patron ticket include? VIP guests will receive premium valet parking at the event, along with entrance to the VIP reception that evening from 5:30pm – 6pm. Is there a rain date? No, the event is held rain or shine.  In case of severe weather, the event will be held under a tent. Where do guests park? VIP Patron and Benefactor guests, along with Platinum and Diamond sponsors, will be directed to drive up our hill to premium valet parking.  Young Friend and Supporter guests, along with Bronze, Silver, and Gold sponsors, will valet park in lawn parking near the entry kiosk and take a trolley shuttle up the hill to our Welcome Center. Cherry Blossom Appreciation: Sake and Sakura Sip and Stroll

Join this early evening walk to explore our flowering cherry (sakura) collection. If you look forward to our cherry blossoms each spring, what better way to enjoy them than during the quiet evening hours? Each participant will receive a self-guided tour upon arrival, setting you up on a stroll through the garden in which you will learn about the many types of cherry species here at the Morris and what makes each of them unique.  Your walking tour will lead you to a table set up underneath one of our most majestic flowering cherry trees, where you’ll be able to sample several types of sake in celebration of two great Japanese traditions in one night! 21+ only, please.
